Café Royal has always been the preferred haunt of the intellectual, political and artistic literati. Oscar Wilde, George Bernard Shaw, Virginia Woolf, Cary Grant, Elizabeth Taylor, Winston Churchill and Muhammad Ali were all patrons.

After a four-year renovation, Café Royal is finally welcoming a new generation of guests into its beautifully renovated spaces where a strong sense of heritage is combined with the latest in what the 21st Century has to offer. And the suites, are another story all together…

The vintage-looking elevators whisked us away to the circular Dome Suite lurking high above the property. The Dome Suite overlooks all of Piccadilly Circus with its giant screens. This is the perfect backdrop to any party and it’s no wonder that the hotel describes it as “the ultimate rock ‘n’ roll suite’. It even includes its own DJ booth!

The largest of the suites is the 200sq metre Empire Suite. The French-inspired Club Suite is where you’ll find moulds of the changing faces of Napoleon.
Then there is the Tudor Suite which was inspired by the Elizabethan era and includes an original Tudor fireplace and Jacobean symbols on the walls of the living area. The more modern Marquis Suite will impress visitors with its quintessential London views – it overlooks Piccadilly Circus and Big Ben. And the final suite is the Celestine Suite which is perfect for entertaining with its large dining space.

After a long London day, there’s nothing better than pampering yourself at Café Royal’s spa or relaxing in the beautiful indoor pool located right underneath the bussling Piccadilly Circus.

The contemporary and luxurious Café Royal Hotel offers British informal all-day dining in the Ten Room.;The Bar plays homage to Oscar Wilde (who frequented it); and originally established in 1865, the legendary Grill Room is the jewel of Café Royal hotel restored to its original Louis XVI décor. The frosting on the cake is the hotel’s The Café which celebrates the European tradition of café culture in the center of Regent Street.

Located in the heart of London facing Mayfair to the west, the creative Soho to the east, and with unparalleled views of Pcadilly Circus, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, not to mention some of the world’s best shopping streets, Café Royal’s suites are a treat.
